WEEKEND WRITING WORKSHOPS, 2025

convent-girls.webp

Jane’s 1994 bestseller Convent Girls consisted of first- person pieces ‘by’ well-known New Zealand women talking about their school days with the nuns.

Three years later, using the same process of interviewing women and shaping these interviews into first-person
pieces of about 5000 words, Jane produced Sixties Chicks.

Would you like to follow the same process and end up with a piece similar to those in these books?
